Hello!  I’m Amanda - mother, nature lover and self confessed coffee and cake addict. I’ve been a professional photographer for 7 years now and this passion, which I get to call a job, has taken me to the other side of the world capturing love stories in some incredible locations.

I’m a romantic and a dreamer at heart and I believe wholeheartedly in keeping your memories alive through photographs. I love the nostalgia of leafing through old photo albums and trying to remember or imagine the real stories behind the people staring back. I’ve had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember - the urge to capture candid moments to look back on is a trait I’ve gratefully inherited from my dad (thanks, dad!).

I can’t wait to capture your own story for you to treasure!

My Happy Place

When I do eventually put the camera down, nothing makes me happier than just being with my husband and children stomping about in the outdoors, exploring new places. I love camping, the Lake District, Italy, our vinyl collection, gardening (but I must work harder at keeping plants alive!!) and pizza and wine get togethers with friends on Summer evenings. I will also never say no to a good margarita… What I do not enjoy, is the amount of time I seem to spend these days rummaging for kid’s snacks in bags and cleaning the kitchen floor after meal times with my littles. It may be a messy existence right now, but there’s always beauty to be found!

Authentic and heartfelt wedding, newborn and family photography

My two beautiful, curly haired children - Alba and Theodore. One a force of nature, the other our little sensitive soul.

Inspiration

Everything I do is for them and inspired by them. Becoming a mother has only deepened my appreciation of photography in my pursuit of documenting their lives.  When Alba was born, I couldn’t stop worrying that when she grew up, I would forget all the little details of how she looked and her funny expressions and mannerisms that made us laugh - the little dimples in her hands, bouncy baby curls on her neck or her deep frown. I realise that time with my children, right now, is fleeting, precious and forever changing.

We live in a busy world which demands a lot of our time and attention and so it’s easy to not prioritise photographing your love stories.  That’s where I come in!  I want you as a couple or a family to have your unique love and connection captured for you to treasure and look back on when the memories have started to fade.

Let’s create something beautiful together.

Things that bring me joy

The sunrise, birdsong in spring, watching my children sleep, crisp Autumn mornings, morning coffee and pastries, fresh linen, long hot bubble baths, the Italian countryside, Aperol in the sun, sand between my toes.

and capturing your story
